Groundbreaking for Kidd's Convenience Store

The groundbreaking for Kidd’s Convenience Store in Cape Girardeau, Missouri was held today at the construction site of the new store. Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, City of Cape Girardeau, Old Town Cape, business leaders and members of the community gathered on site to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking event with the Kidd’s family. DILLE TRAXEL Architecture is pleased to work directly with the Kidd’s family and Penzel Construction to facilitate their vision for the new store.

Cape Girardeau Fire Station No. 4

DILLE TRAXEL Architecture is pleased to have been part of the Design-build team for the Cape Girardeau Fire Station No. 4, located in the Laurel Grove neighborhood on Lexington Avenue in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Continuing construction on First Missouri State Bank

Construction is progressing on the First Missouri State Bank in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The steel structure has been erected on the new facility’s site, which is adjacent to Highway 67. When complete, the new 17,000 square foot facility will accommodate all features of a full service banking experience.

Southern Bank Renovation

The Southern Bank facility, located in Van Buren, Missouri, recently underwent a complete interior and exterior renovation. The branch commemorated the re-opening of the newly remodeled branch with a ceremony and refreshments which included members of the community and staff.

Hayti Municipal Facility Coming Soon!

We are excited to be part of the team for the new municipal facility for the City of Hayti, Missouri that is to be located in the downtown area. DILLE TRAXEL Architecture completed design work that facilitates an efficient and fully operational configuration that will house approximately 12,000 square feet.

Redesign of Kidd's Gas Station and Convenience Store

We are excited to be a part of the major renovations for the Kidd’s gas station and convenience store on Broadway in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Bank of Grandin Grand Opening

A ribbon cutting event was held for the Bank of Grandin Grand Opening on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Members of the community, staff and business leaders were in attendance to commemorate the opening of the new facility in Harveill, Missouri.

Marquee Restoration for Historic Rodgers Theatre

In an effort to retain the historical significance of the Historic Rodgers Theatre, dedicated citizens of the Poplar Bluff community are working to restore the marquee. Boasting its early mid-century modern architecture and illuminated neon marquee, the Rodgers Theatre was built in 1914 by I. W. Rodgers on the corner of Pine and Broadway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

DILLE TRAXEL ARCHITECTURE announces the appointment of Coulton Becker as Architectural Intern for the summer of 2017. His goal is to gain general office experience and a practical understanding of the field of architecture.

Progress for Cape Girardeau Fire Station No. 4

Fire Station No. 4 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is quickly progressing. The Penzel/Dille Traxel design-build team is anticipating completion late fall 2017. We are thrilled to be a part of this project for the City of Cape Girardeau and its residents.

Oak Grove Elementary

A new main entry was added for the Poplar Bluff Oak Grove Elementary School. Additions and renovations were made to the existing facility.

Progress for Maynard Elementary School

Progress continues for Maynard School District in Maynard, Arkansas as crews begin to pour footings for the new Maynard Elementary School. Along with Delk Construction, DILLE TRAXEL Architecture is pleased to once again work with Superintendent Pat Rawlings to facilitate another successful project for the Maynard School District.

First Missouri State Bank

We are proud to announce the design of the first LEED building in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. DILLE TRAXEL Architecture is collaborating with Hastings Architecture to complete a new facility for First Missouri State Bank. The facility will be two stories and boasting 17,000 square feet clad in a thin limestone veneer.

Ribbon Cutting for the Poplar Bluff High School

The Ribbon Cutting for the Poplar Bluff High School was held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in the new Commons area. Retired Supt. Chris Hon addressed the crowd of community leaders, faculty, staff and students.

City of Cape Girardeau New Fire Station 4

The groundbreaking for the city of Cape Girardeau’s New Fire Station 4 was held on September 7, 2016 at its new location on Lexington Avenue. Dille Traxel Architecture is a member of the design-build team with Penzel Construction Company and FGM Architects.
